As the educational landscape rapidly evolves, the integration of generative artificial intelligence (AI) into teaching and learning has emerged as a transformative opportunity for educators. This resource is designed to support Idaho educators and professionals in navigating the exciting possibilities that AI offers. Whether you’re looking to enhance your instructional methods, streamline administrative tasks, or inspire creativity among your students, generative AI offers tools and strategies to fit your needs.

Considering that for many of us, even a quick Google search of “generative artificial intelligence” feels like we’ve turned on a firehose of information, our goal is not to provide an exhaustive resource. Instead, we’ve collected some basic tools and links to people and organizations who can provide you with up-to-date examples of how these technologies are being used in education.  You’ll also find high-level insights into how AI can be effectively used in the classroom, along with real-world examples from Idaho educators who are already harnessing its potential. Here is a link to a calendar of AI-related events that may be of interest to Idaho educators so that you can learn more about state, institutional, and other trainings.

As you explore this resource, we encourage you to experiment, innovate, collaborate, and share your ideas with us—because the future of education is not just about adopting new technologies, but about empowering educators and students alike to thrive in a dynamic, AI-enhanced world.
