Spanish rules for capital letters and lowercase letters.


CAPITAL letters
  1. The first letter of every sentence is capitalized.
  2. The first letter of all proper nouns is capitalized
    • names of peoples
    • countries
    • cities
    • geographical features, etc
  3. The first letter of the first word in titles of books, films, and works of art is generally capitalized.
  4. The first letter of any proper name.
  5. The initial letter of each word in newspaper and magazine titles.
  6. Capital letters with accent marks retain them.
Lowercase letters.
  1. The first letter of days, months, and seasons are not capitalized.
  2. The first letter of nationalities is not capitalized.
  3. The first letter of languages is not capitalized.
