Most of the inventors researched led very interesting lives, whereby they might have changed careers and directions multiple times and were successful in whatever they tried their hand at or pivoted when necessary in order to succeed. They were visionaries who saw a problem in their daily spheres or communities and seized up what they had at hand to try to find solutions to those problems. They were community and service oriented. They gave their time, talents, and know-how to help others. Below are a list of readings, books, and videos/films that feature these pioneers.
