Introduction

Hello, and welcome to the College of Southern Idaho! We hope that you will enjoy your experience here! In order to help your journey here be as successful as possible, the CSI Library created this Technology Literacy Manual. This was a joint project with the Tutoring Center, Student Housing, and Student Affairs.

This OER is an offshoot of our regular Technology Literacy Workshop. If you have not taken that workshop yet, we encourage you to do so! It will give this manual much-needed context. The manual is built as a “review guide” for the workshop and follows its topical order, structure, and exercises. However, students who have not taken this workshop will still get benefits from this manual.

Throughout this manual, there are exercises we invite you to perform, from sending an email to sending a message to submitting text assignments. Enroll in the CSI Technology Workshop Canvas course to submit the assignments there.
