Knowing the difference between the words that have an accent versus no accent

Some words are phonetically the same, but they do not mean the same thing. That is why when we write we distinguish them with an accent.

NO accent WITH accent
De (preposition)

el (article)

mi (possession)

que (conjunction,  relating to)

se (pronoun)

te (pronoun)

si (conjunction)

dé (present of the subjunctive of the ver dar)

él (pronoun)

mí (pronoun)

qué (interrogative or exclamation)

sé (present of the verb saber)

té (noun, bebarave)

sí (afirmative adverb)

sí (freflexice pronoun)
